Shooting Diary

Shooting Diary

Sunday 23rd November-Today I shot a minute of footage with my model in two different locations, I went to Normanby Park to shoot and I also used a bedroom. When shooting I tried to follow my story board but found when I arrived at the location different ideas came to me and different shots looked better than the ones I had planned. I had filmed just before sunset and found that the sun setting created a nice background/ silhouette/ and a pan ( the sun glare was visible of the camera as in panned round making an effective filling shot)
Equipment used was a camera and a tripod, props included a note and a promise ring.

Saturday 31st January-When I shot today the weather was snowing so it affected the amount of time me and my model were able to go outside and stand in the cold filming, I also think it affected the shots I was able to get and the quality of them. I filmed in three different locations today, Normanby Park, bedroom and a car. I also refilmed some of the footage I got on Saturday 23rd November because I felt like the lighting was better.
Equiptment used was a camera and a tripod, props included a note and a promise ring.

Saturday 21st March-When I shot today the weather was cloudy but it didn't affect my filming. I made a last minute decision to film out a manner house as I thought this could help the narrative of my story and created interesting mise en scene in comparison to my previous shots where the mise en scene only included the woods and wasn't as interesting to look at. I filmed a lot more hand held footage today because I felt that my video lacked movement. I finished off all of my filming and now I can edit to see if anything needs to be redone or is missing.

Wednesday 25th March-After editing my footage I saw that I had two shots left to film but because it was short notice I couldn't get my model to help but it didn't effect it because she wasn't it the shots I needed to film so I filmed and used myself in the footage.
